“I coach modern-day “superheroes” who often use their superpower for the greater good and neglect their wellbeing. These highly alert, anxious, weird, neurotic creatures often achieve remarkable things despite their self-defeating habits and crippling self-talk.

In their pursuit of excellence, today's heroes have a constellation of signs and symptoms including fatigue, sleep disruption, reduced exercise tolerance and recovery, low libido, brain fog, weakened immune function and reduced stress tolerance. They fly from one task to the next, to the next, overestimating the world and underestimate their real strengths. Their “faster than a speeding bullet" pace leads them to burn-out. Our heroes struggle to maintain their energy levels due to many different aspects of the modern lifestyle, including poor diet, sleep deprivation, chronic stress, lack of (or too much) exercise, and inflammation.

It doesn’t take much to seem superhuman and appear “successful” to nearly everyone around you, but you feel like you're losing at the “inner game” of life. You want to be efficient with your time and resources. You want to eat healthily, feel energised, sleep well, be able to manage your stress and anxiety by finding ways to balance your superhero commitments with a healthy lifestyle.

Modern-day superheroes often need to discover a sense of gratitude and freedom that allows them to make healthier choices for their body, mind and spirit. By targeting "The 5-Pillars of Sustainable Health,” our heroes increase their happiness and establish a sustainable diet and training programme. Every superhero needs a sidekick, someone to support their endeavours and help them appreciate their unique abilities — a partner in crime to help them implement self-care practices and manifest healthy and sustainable behaviours.”

Though trial and error, learning more about my values and my purpose I discovered that that health and longevity was important to me. The constant day-to-day demands of running a business, working with clients, training, eating well, getting enough sleep, managing my stress and finding time to connect with friends quickly lead to burn-out, anxiety, digestive issues, poor sleep, low libido and hormonal imbalances that left me feeling disconnected from my body.

Diet, Sleep, Training, Stress Management, and Community are the 5-Pillars of “Sustainable Health” that I use to coach my clients and uncover the best practice to balance health and performance.

The puzzle of improving human performance, vitality and resilience is an itch that I continue to scratch. One of the most fulfilling things about being a coach is the satisfaction that comes from seeing our clients succeed. In life, it often takes mistakes to get better, but success comes to those with persistence and determination.

I aim to work with clients who have a love of learning, practice what they preach, and hold their health and longevity in high regard. To honestly find a healthy balance between life, work and training I encourage my clients to invest time into all 5-Pillars of Sustainable Health to build the resilience that is required to thrive, and not merely survive consistently.
