I am an ADAPT Certified Functional Health Coach. “I coach modern-day “superheroes” who often use their superpower for the greater good and neglect their own wellbeing. These highly alert, anxious, weird, neurotic creatures often achieve remarkable things despite their self-defeating habits and crippling self-talk.
In their pursuit of excellence, today's heroes have a constellation of signs and symptoms including fatigue, sleep disruption, poor exercise tolerance and
recovery, low libido, brain fog, weakened immune function and reduced stress tolerance. They fly from one task to the next, to the next, overestimating the world and underestimate their true strengths. Their “faster than a speeding bullet" pace leads them to burn-out. Our heroes struggle through their day and seem to have a never-ending impulse to procrastinate. They're sleep-deprived, low on energy, have high levels of stress and anxiety, suffer from digestive issues, and try to go to into battle with a weak immune system.
It doesn’t take much to seem superhuman and appear “successful” to nearly everyone around you, but you feel like you're losing at the “inner game” of life. You want to be efficient with your time and resources. You want to eat healthily, feel energized, sleep well, be able to manage your stress and anxiety by finding ways to balance your superhero commitments with a healthy lifestyle.
Modern-day superheroes often need to discover a sense of gratitude and freedom that allows them to make healthier choices for their body, mind and spirit. By targeting "The 5-Pillars of Sustainable Health,” our heroes increase their happiness and establish a sustainable diet and training programme. Every superhero needs a sidekick, someone to support their endeavours and help them appreciate their unique abilities — a partner in crime to help them implement self-care practices and manifest healthy and sustainable behaviours.”
