Program Review & New Training Phase

Keep progressing with a program designed for where you are now.

Your body adapts to training. The exercises that challenged you a month ago become more familiar, your strength improves, and your goals begin to evolve. That's exactly what we want.

Rather than following the same program indefinitely, I recommend reviewing your training approximately every 4–6 weeks. This allows us to build on the progress you've made, keep your training effective, and ensure you're moving confidently towards your long-term goals.

If you've already completed your Initial Movement Assessment, this is the next step.

What happens during your Program Review?

During our 60-minute face-to-face session we'll review how your current program has been working for you.

Together we'll discuss:

  • Review some of the current exercises

  • Review how your training has been progressing

  • Review your progress

  • Set goals for your next phase

  • Explore potential exercises for the next phase

This isn't another movement assessment. Instead, it's an opportunity to evaluate your progress and gather everything needed to build your next phase of training.

Your New Training Phase

Following your review session, I'll design your next personalised training program.

Your updated program will be based on:

  • Your progress since your last program

  • Appropriate exercise progressions

  • Continued improvements in strength, muscle development and movement quality

  • Your current training environment (gym or home)

  • Any changes to your goals or lifestyle

Each phase is designed to build on the last, so your training continues to move forward instead of simply repeating the same exercises.
